Comments (6)We went with Solidor: http://www.solidor.co.uk/our-doors Very happy with it, 48mm thick with a wooden core, feels nice and solid/secure compared the hideous UPVC door it replaced. Although it should be noted I hate UPVC....See MoreNeed help for my Bathroom colour choices
Comments (3)Catherine, It really depend on the style of your home and your personal tastes here. Black is my immediate thought as it works really well with the colours you mentioned and makes both white and silver look stunning. Black adds definition and a sleekness. To best effect, this would work well with Contemporary or Art Deco style rooms which is why I mentioned the style of the house. Do you have a picture you could upload? If you demand more of a statement then I would recommend Reds/Pinks or to be on trend and a bit more subtly try the Deep Indigo or Blue. I hope it helps and look forward to seeing the design. Feel free to get in touch if you would like more advise. All the best, Gina...See MoreBathroom colour choice ? (first timer)

Feeling excited about it again :) And Carolin I'm certain i'll go for some pictures inside to, or a painting, to bring the wall to life and give it a personality...See MoreAny ideas/suggestions on what colour I should paint my kitchen
Comments (11)We also have a north east facing kitchen, we used farrow and balls, Purbeck stone on our wall of units at the back of the kitchen (its warmer than using grey which can look cold in a north facing room), pelt on our peninsula and dimity on the walls, it give off pink hues during the day and is (nice) sort of creamy beige in the evening / on dull days. We took samples of our flooring and work top to a F&B shop/consultant and they were really helpful in confirming that the colours we wanted would work in our N/E facing room. I was pretty fixed on the the purbeck stone and pelt and it was they that suggested using dimity on the walls. Also as already suggested, tester pots and paint on large pieces of paper that you can move around the room is a good idea....See MoreSonia
