Rebecca thanks for the help! Kinorigo looks amazing. They have a black and white dining table that is just beautiful. Would be great if they also did that as a coffee table. They only offer a bespoke service? Sound a bit scary! Can you pm me a price estimate if you've had something similar previously? I'm currently torn between the Platner, the pedrera by gubi and the 'my moon' table my morose!! The gubi is probably my favourite just because of its classic simplicity but it might get a bit lost.

Gerty I got my rug from John Lewis, but there are some great online rug sellers, just check reviews first and pay by Paypal, just in case! Don’t forget if rug is bought online, and therefore unseen, you can return it within 30 days as your Distance Selling Rights. I would check their Returns Policy first to ensure they are correct and in line with the law.

I'm not sure about either to be honest, sorry. I appreciate the ideas though! I think where i'm struggling is i quite like something gold/marble, i'm just aware I have gone for quite statement pieces so I want everything to effortlessly flow together and look well-styled but not gaudy/mish-mashed. I suppose I know how i want it to feel i.e. luxurious, elegant and feminine rather than how i want it to look, if that makes sense? Hi Katie, here are some ideas for creating a lounge feel for your home while maintaining open spaces. Aside from adding area rugs to spaces you want defined, adding tables and matching lamps, thematic décor and colour throughout also helps. A lounge feel can be affected by art, lighting, so dimmable lights are highly recommended.
