hallway colour on wall please.

i recently finshed doing our black and white floor design which i designed myself.i putup kind of beige cream with flecks of pink tiles on the walls and now i need to paint the rest of the wall .Please any ideas on colour as you can see i have plenty of light coming in and i live by the sea so i love Mediterranean colours .please help .thanks.

Love the floor tiles. Depends how bold you want to go on the walls, an orange would look nice...

As far as I can tell from your photos, you have a beautiful and interesting home.

Can you post some photos showing more of the floor.

And, just to cure my curiosity, some of the exterior as well please.

But only if it’s not too much trouble or intrusion. Feel free to ignore me. :)

Thank you for your ideas, minnie - I wish we could keep the wallpaper, as it is (or was) nice. Unfortunately, it is very 'tired' and looks dirty. We are definitely getting a carpet for the stairs, and unfortunately, we can't afford to put new wallpaper up, at the moment - we have enough magnolia paint (donated to us) to do the whole area, but I wanted to add a touch of soft colour to it. The carpet we are getting is very similar to the photo I have attached. As you have suggested, I have also attached a couple of photos of the hallway without the paint. Thank you again :D

I like the two tone idea. How about a deep teal? If you go for a look similar to what you pictured paint just over 1/3 in the blue. If you do half and half it will dissect the room

Here's Little Sh*t looking highly unimpressed. In between coats, hence masking tape still around the doors. My sister - who disagrees with me on everything - doesn't like it. (She also wanted me to paint the woodwork, but it's oiled and I have just treated it again so paint would roll off. I don't have time to strip it all.) I tried the sage as most rooms off are white, cream, or similarly neutral. Thoughts? Should I have gone paler or darker, etc?

Look at your front door, wow! Everything you have suggested sounds great. Your current wooden floor looks lovely, but if you want a change then why not? As to the wall colours I can see pale grey or taupe on those walls, and for the stairs. I think you could leave the hand rail part natural and just paint the rest in a grey or taupe or white. A nice wall colour would be F&B Ammonite and it would look lovely with a darker shade on the staircase such as Downpipe. If you prefer a softer warmer look then Skimming Stone or the darker Elephants Breath would look good. You can keep the woodwork white if you want to keep it fresh. Dark hallways are very popular at the moment, so that’s another avenue and I’m sure others will advise. Here’s some ideas, I’ve also included Pigeon as I think it looks amazing (last pic).

ED thanks .Here is a picture of the outside still hasnt been decorated outside .plus the hallway floor i only have this picture leading into our yet to be kitchen .If you have any suggestionsfor my kitchen please advise .Its all a blank canvas at the moment .1st pic is kitchen diner 2nd the main kitchen area 3rd view from kitchen to diner 4th on the left is a doorway leading to the diner with aan open area where i wanted to do some kind of moraccan style design.Any advise please.thanks
