How does the glass top fix to the bottom part?

Is it foxed with something like glue?

You have a fairly small bathroom, which is why the tiles have been kept neutral and light. What's missing is some items that will pop. You could spring for a nicer sink arrangement. The cabinet around a pedestal was never a good look. Is there enough room between the bath and the opposite wall to turn the sink and move it towards the toilet to give you more worktop space and storage at the end of the bath? If not, keep the sink where it is, but use a vanity to look more fitted. The bath can be altered to provide more storage. Put up a hand towel bar or ring above the right hand side of the sink. Get rid of the toilet roll stand and hang the roll from a holder that matches the hand towel rail. Store extra rolls under the sink. Paint the long wall in one of the colours in the border tile, perhaps a richer beige. An interesting large mirror would visually widen the room. Alternatively, try a pale blue wall colour and richer mid blue towels mixed with brown towels. A light over the sink area would vastly improve that corner. The floor does nothing for the room. Why not choose a vinyl floor from Amtico or Karndean in a dark wood board effect? The tiles in your bathroom can be skimmed over by a professional fitter and the new floor laid directly on top. Thanks - I have already fitted a horizontal column radiator in the hall: I have done this in most common areas. It's out of shot in the photo. In terms of off-whites, we have not used any. Either pure brilliant white (kitchen, window woodwork etc), or F&B Ammonite (the grey on the staircase etc) are the neutrals. I looking at something for the kitchen as the pure white is a bit harsh.

Balcony glass balustrade

Hello, i hope someone can help me. I live in an apartment building where all the units have a balcony glass balustrade. Recently I noticed this in one of the glasses - the stainless steel piece at the bottom is kind of slipping off the glass. Hopefully this is clear in the picture. Apologies i couldn’t take a better picture against the backdrop outside with all the trees and other buildings. The building manager recommended a glass contractor that they used to look at it and I am quoting what was provided to me: -silicone that is binding the glass to the stainless steel frame is wearing off. -will try to avoid dismantling the glass to prevent breaking it -install support around the glass. -remove existing silicone on all 4 sides and put new silicone leave it to dry totally for a couple of days before removing the support. -2 trips to complete the work Anyone know if this is recommended work sounds right? i am wondering how does he (the contractor) ensure all the old silicone is removed and the glass won’t drop before he put on new sLi one. I tried to ask the glass contractor but he assured me it’s been done this way many times with no problem. i hope to find out if anyone out there can give me some more ideas: 1. how can such glass problem can be fixed? 2. who is the right person to do such repair job? 3. What is the average price and time needed for such repair? A ballpark figure? according to my building managemen, no other units encountered the same issue as mine. . Thank you and i would appreciate any help and advice.
