I am our international shipping manager and can hopefully assist you with any purchases you would like to make. We ship our lovely goodies across the world on a weekly basis – we have Bedsides in Australia, Armoires in Singapore, Dressing Tables in Dubai and Beds in the US!

Cushions are definitely a nice addition to a bed when it comes to comfort and cosiness. Rich, fluffy cushions add to the feeling you want to have when you are in bed: you want to feel relaxed. Besides, although they can be a pain to remove before sleeping if you have too many of them, they upgrade your bed to the next design level. I have 5 cushions, all of them rectangular and fluffy. I have mixed the colours, patterns, and textures in order to make my bed stand out: a nice trick for that is to use white sheets, and vivid and colourful cushions to contrast with the whiteness of the bed. Plain velvety mustard yellow and fushia plain cushions mixed with green geometric patterns, ... I've got them all!

The advantage of the hemnes day bed is it can convert to a double so could last until adulthood in theory. Would you/he consider a midsleeper? There are loads on Wayfair (with good reviews). Ours is off centre, but that’s because of the door opening so it’s not that obvious. We have 3 frames hung in a row above bed. You could add a small chair or free standing tall mirror in the corner
