Distance Between Hob and Sink?

Hi

We’re having an extension done soon. I’ve designed the kitchen after we had a couple of designs done. I’m just a bit stuck on whether to have a prep sink on the island. The hob is on the island and the main sink is 2m away on the run of units perpendicular to the island. If we don’t have the prep sink I could get a boiling tap for the main sink, but is it too far to go to drain a pot of boiling water? Thanks :)
