Need help with choosing a colour for my living room
Comments (20)maria galvano thank you, I love them too and make me smile whenever I look at them, I bought them from a Bedouin woman in Petra (Jordan). They remind me of an amazing trip to Syria and Jordan some years ago, travelling independently using public transport and meeting amazing people along the way, both locals and tourists. Loved Petra so much and the local Bedouin people, went back for a second day to have another look around as well as sit and drink mint tea and listen to amazing stories ... and yes, they make my home feel alive as most things in it have some connection to a life lived. Thank you again....See MorePaint colour for French house shutters
Comments (6)Hi Jscott001, We have a range of 96 colours inspired by nature that could enhance your lovely house. If you want a strong green we have New Sap, but for a more subtle shade of green we have Bud that is very similar but paler than F&B's Mizzle. We also have a lovely green called Custard Apple which is one of Sir Terence Conran's favourites. If you are looking towards a blue, we have Pale Veronica and Hydrangea Head which would work beautifully with the house. All of our colours are available as exterior paint in Eggshell and Gloss, you can see all of our colours here: http://www.paintbyconran.com/all-colours If you have any specific questions about our paint or what could work I can happily answer them!...See MoreHow to use the colour TEAL in your home!
Comments (0)T E A L 10 Reasons why we LOVE the #colour teal & 10 Images on how it can work in your #home… 1. It has obvious associations with the #sea and the tropics (dreamy) At its brightest it has a yellow #undertone and is very close to #turquoise. This shade looks great with citrus hues, (orange, yellow and lime green all makes perfect sense). 3. At its most muted, it more closely resembles a green slate (our #favourite). This shade goes well with other blues and greys. 4. #Teal with navy is so #bold and so #elegant. 5. A teal sofa with brownish red #accents is lovely and surprisingly #calm. 6. Teal pops with bright white, and its colour wheel match is coral. 7. A very blue teal with very little grey looks stunning with pink and gold accents. 8. Nothing looks quite so good as a gold-framed mirror against a teal #wall. 9. Teal can be both #punchy and loud or #muted and staid 10. It is a #classic that works with nearly any #style, from #eclectic to #traditional “Teal is a great colour to use in your home interiors in a place where you wish to relax and unwind – to regain balance and equilibrium after a hectic busy day”, says Sinead, Interior Designer at Blakely Interiors....See MoreHelp on colour of cabinet pls
Comments (2)Beautiful room and cornforth looks great on your walls! Nether red is lovely, may also be worth trying sulking room pink. If you wanted to go really dark, I’d try LG purple brown, Atelier Ellis Bitter Chocolate (sample pots are lovely too!), Neptune Walnut, FB Cola but then maybe add a throw in a similar colour and tone to Nether Red...See MoreMaple & Gray
