what colour tiles can I put on my kitchen wall. I'm busy renovating and my kitchen is white and wood.

I’d go for white tiles and worktop. Sockets would blend in.

There are loads of colour options that would work with a white and wood kitchen. How daring do you want to go? Are there any colours you particularly like/dislike? Personally, I probably wouldn't choose white tiles.

Hi Vicki, I would go for bigger tiles, ones that are 60 cm x 30 cm. If you use smaller tiles the outcome may look too busy with your chosen floor tiles. I also suggest choosing very light grey wall tiles, the colour of which matches to the grey background colour of the floor tiles. That would give you the industrial sort of vibe you are aiming to achive. Order different samples and see how the combinations look in your bathroom. You're the customer so have it how you want. Its more expensive to tile wall to wall which is why lots of kitchens are only tiled up to the legs, but its getting more and more popular to have the kitchen fully tiled before fitting like they do on the continent. When we have a kitchen to fit and its been tiled we lay hardboard over the floor to protect it, so it is an extra small cost. Accidents can happen though like dropping the oven but that could of been an old existing tiled floor that could be chipped and no replacement tiles available. Also its harder for your fitter to install as he has to scribe and seal all your decor panels to the floor when its been tiled is another reason installers prefer it to be tiled afterwards.

There are so many choices with a white and wood kitchen. I think white tiles can look so good as long as they have an interesting shape. How about hexagonal or thin tiles laid in a herringbone pattern? Something like this:
