Comments (3)I was posting it on my iPad and accidentally posted it in th wrong section. It was meant to be in the before and after section. I didn't know how to move it or delete it once I'd posted it. Sorry....See MoreMaster Bedroom ensuite
Comments (3)I'm not an expert so take views accordingly but presumably the master suite is in proportion and spec with the remainder of the house? If it's a wow house then it's deserving of a wow master suite. If for example it's a modest size house with a huge master and one other standard size bedroom then I understand their comment re dividing the space. I don't really see a fire as being non-neutral, if their concern is division of the space, does it easily divide with the rest of the features in the room? Comments (10)Hiya, Ok so I've converted your measurements into mm so these are equivalent to ft, in drawing we use mm. So I think you will need to close off two windows to the east side to get a decent size walk in wardrobe. I've tried to leverage the longest wall in the bedroom without losing too much floor space. I've added your bed with some bedside tables and as you can see you have plenty of space still around you. Keeping the south side patio doors as that will give you light throughout the day. In terms of your walk in wardrobe I played with different sizes and came up with 50-70-50mm dimensions, you could go bigger or smaller as you have plenty of room. Although I would allow 1metre gap between your bed and the wardrobes otherwise it could get a bit crammed. Also think it would be useful and nice to have a little seat to put on shoes etc. you could even add a seat on the opposite side if you wanted. Allowing to entrances to your walk in wardrobe allows light to flow from one side to the other and it doesn't block your patio doors either. I've added lots of dimensions hope this helps! Comments (7)Thank you that's a good point...never had a dressing room before so it's going to be luxury! We had another go at keeping main room the same, placing wardrobes either side of walkway to ensuite in the dressing room. Any thoughts on this layout? There might be room for a dressing table next to one wardrobe, hoepfully with a chair as would like one in there! Be nice to include some sort of seat/storage under the window but probably too tight with this layout? Unless we make ensuite a bit smaller. If we did go for this any ideas on storage in main room? Could do some here as plenty of space...maybe under the window? Or the wall one side of the entrance door is appx 400ml further back than wall the other side...could we build storage into this niche?...See MoreMega Builders
