Hi there, this can be a common problem with laminate doors! Replacement doors shouldn't be too difficult to obtain these days, as many companies offer this as a service. Whether your doors are standard sizes or made to measure, there is an excellent door manufacturer that makes doors just like yours (I think they are from the range Cambridge) by BA Components www.byba.co.uk There is a 'find a dealer' section, where you can find a tradesman in your area and obtain a quote. Generally quotes are no obligation! IF, there is any sort of issue colour matching- consider going slightly darker on the bottom like Dakar, Mussel or Cashmere. You can see an example of doors from the above company that we fitted on a de-laminated kitchen. The clients cupboards were all different sizes, however because the doors are made to measure- this wasn't an issue. Best of luck!

Thanks for comments. Unfortunately since this is a project that has now past the 1 yr mark and we had to completely strip the house to its bear bones we had to purchase a second hand kitchen. It was previously a football managers so very expensive new. Made by hand. I got no choice with granite top- black it is! Initially I was wanting brass but all handles taps are chrome hence the pic of chrome manta light (it’s not shiny chrome) so now you have thrown me!! I am really indecisive and love too many things and never sure what works well. If I go for all brass fittings should I also go for brass coloured manta style light? I know both the blue ball light and green long light would go with brass fittings. At the moment the blue light has a black fitting, would I need to change that if went for silver metal or brass? Light switch covers was going for brushed nickel as I don’t like antique brass when I looked at switch covers- I’m getting click ones Lts- you mention mushroom colour and then fire earth apple??? I’m not sure which you are referring to as a close match to mussel colour

I think you need to carefully budget. Perhaps the thing to do it breakdown the cost of all the work you want to make the house look finished and this will give you a budget of how much is available for building. I would break down the budget like this- Cost of inexpensive or used kitchen and appliances and fitting £12,000. Cost of fitting bathroom including taking out the wall £10,000 Upstairs flooring £1700 Downstairs flooring £4500 Electrician to upgrade consumer unit, move some sockets, spotlights for kitchen and bathroom- £3000. Heating engineer- replace some radiators with smaller or move for better furniture placement, flush system and service boiler £800. Update internal doors £2000 Curtain poles to hang own curtains from old house and purchase some new blinds £700. Hall door to garage £800. Stud wall with insulation to divide through lounge £1100. This leaves only £13,000 to build an extension- @£1600 per square meter this buys you something bathroom sized. By finding a cheap builder you might be able to reduce the cost per square meter but I suspect £1100 per square meter will be the absolute lowest you will find, this will put you £5000 over budget if you build my suggestion of a 4m x4m extension and with no contingency fund you will have to cut costs elsewhere.
