POLL: Exposed brick - yay or nay?
Comments (32)I agree with Rennew Traditional Building Materials - it's not a question of what's 'trending' or 'passé', but of really paying attention to the existing building and marrying that with the sensibility of the future inhabitant. Some spaces suit the industrial treatment, some don't, and no-one should be forced to be fashionable. I can't help thinking of the old Bauhaus principle of 'truth to materials' though. Comments (25)Definitely! I think these can work fantastically, but only if the room is large enough to carry it. Freestanding baths in bedrooms work well when the room is not already over crowded with furniture. If you have a separate dressing room and the bedroom is still large enough, then sure, they can really make a feature of the room....See MoreSuzanne C
