Should I paind one wall teal?

Hello, houzz friends. How do you feel about this bedroom? Is it too while/tall? Should I paind the wall with the bed in teal color, to keep the cold color scheme and add texture? The second photo with the TV stand is the opposite wall, the room is rectangular.

Just be aware (and you may know this already), drum kits upstairs can be very difficult for those sitting downstairs. I'm not talking about the general drumming noise but the base pedal. When our kids are using it upstairs it sounds like they are going to come straight through the ceiling. We have sold up and have bought a house with concrete floors. On other subject, size of bedrooms is just as important to some people as number of bedrooms. I would knock through. Alternatively, is there room for a platform bed/mezzanine?

I think 'man about the house' is giving good advice. I adore teal but in this instance a paler grey with teal accents in accessories may suit the space better. I painted a similar wall in a lovely rich purple and it was too much, too dominant for my space :/ . It is a gorgeous colour though it really looks amazing against the lamp and couch.... Oh maybe be brave and go for it!!

Hi, Love the sofas- think they'll look great together! Grey works incredibly well with that shade of blue however nothing's stopping you from going for a very light blue/green as Period Property Store demonstrated. Don't forget that you can always buy sample pots and test out the colours on your wall first! We've attached some images to get your inspiration started. Happy decorating!
