would like to see the full picture so I can see the sofa!

I have a similar idea for my bedroom but I cannot find a sofa with that height!

How could you not see the red star first? It's positioned in the middle of the picture, it's a striking colour and everything else is a bland mess. It's obviously a very nice kitchen but the first thing I would do if I moved in here is remove some of the clutter especially the red star so the lovely cabinets could take centre stage

Depends on your budget. When we got our first home in 1971 we didn't expect to have all the best of everything straight away, we were handed down odd chairs etc. from various members of the family and a dining table and chairs too. As the house wasn't brand new, we paid the previous owner for their carpets and Venetian blinds, I made new curtains and we did buy a new bed. We didn't get a tv for about 18 months and then it was a secondhand black and white one. Whatever you do, remember getting into debt, just so you can have everything you want before you know what you really need, is not a good idea. Your taste could change before you have paid off the loan! If you are a fantastically wealthy person, then ask an interior designer to help you, whatever you do, remember to enjoy yourself and you don't have to overspend to do that either.

here is the link http://www.rangemaster.co.uk/products/range-cookers/classic-deluxe/classic-deluxe-90-dual-fuel lots of other colours available but the only other colour we like is the pearl. Unfortunately don't have plans on phone, however all of the other appliances will be integrated and we are having a butler sink. Wooden worktop will be oak, the cabinets colour is described as cashmere, it's almost a sandy grey. It's an L shaped kitchen, the cooker will be the centre of the shorter L. We are extending a 250year old cottage, think low ceilings, beams, exposed stonework.... so trying to compliment that really.

We produce CAD images of the designs we create with clients to suit their rooms - but we don’t sell any products - we let the clients shop around with one plan to compare like for like from lots of places - as lots of people these days like to do. This means the kitchen suppliers - who might be one of maybe eight places the clients are shopping around in, don’t have to invest design time into a project they only have a 1 in 8 chance of securing . So they can give the client a good price to reflect this. It means the clients don’t have 8 survey visits, 8 drawing reveals and 8 lots of sales talk to sit through... so saves them time too.
