shari39 yes you're right. I've done this a couple of times now. Just attach it with a bead of clear silicon around the edge of the glass, ie. hold the glass in place, and then apply the bead around the edge.

All of the projects are very impressive, the transformations are all pretty amazing and should definitely provide inspiration to anyone looking to do similar projects. I was personally torn between the country kitchen and the sloping garden, in the end my vote went to the sloping garden project, the transformation from a blank awkward looking area to such a cleverly designed and attractive space is amazing.

paint before or after installing radiator?

It would be easiest to paint the walls before fitting the radiators, you could then remove them to touch up any marks made to the walls ,if any, (a professional plumber should be aware of this and not leave any pencil marks on the wall) a wipe with a damp cloth should remove any scuffs of dirt. You can paint radiators with special metal paint, just make sure the radiator is switched off and cold, if not the paint will dry too quickly and not look very pleasing. You will have to lightly sand the glossy surface of the metal to give the paint something to key to. Using p240 grit sandpaper would be ok
