Kitchen cabinet advice required! Please help!
Comments (31)If you've got the time and the inclination (and budgets are tight) I reckon it's worth giving the paint a go to see how it looks. Lots of the kitchens we're doing for clients now are ones with painted finishes and although (as mentioned above) this isn't the most classic style/a bit old fashioned it will look completely different painted. Comments (10)Yes you can. To be honest, I slap the zinsser on and then two coats of really good undercoat and sand that. I always use Rustins undercoat which is water based and then if possible go over with oil based top coat. Others may have other recommendations for which undercoat. I bought this tool on a recommendation and it is really useful for defluffing the edges of painted mdf. My house was full of conker brown varnish and I painted over veluxes with zinsser and it really works. It stinks (contains meths) and it with ruin the brushes but it's good stuff....See MoreWhat colour floor goes well with a High gloss Cashmere Kitchen ?
Comments (12)Cashmere changes colour throughout the day depending on the light so i would keep all units the same colour. Personally not a lover of American fridge freezers especially in smaller kitchens. They seem to draw your eye to them as they are so bulky. Depending on the brand you will need to allow ventilation around it and also space each side if you intend to have tall units....See MoreSonia
