What colour light fitting?

Morning all
What colour light fitting would you recommend for this room?Other walls are white with grey feature wall and grey sofa.Thank you
Husband doesn't thibk gold/brass will work

Hello, gold actually is a right colour as you used light grey on flooring, wall and sofa you need to add a couple of warm colours like gold or brown to your room. I used gold lighting on grey wallpaper for one of my recent projects and the result was stunning. If you and your husband don't like gold at all you can add dark brass but you need to add some warm colours. Chandelier with shade help. add some nice warm colour cushions to your sofa (different shade of brown). also coffee table books help.

Hello Ashley, I very much like eclectic style! As you know as well, this lamp wouldn't really fit in but as headers13 said it depends what else are you going to have, how your decoration will be like, colour, etc. I can also imagine mixing the accessories a bit, that fits in in eclectic style but it's up to you. Personally I would go for a new one, perhaps I would recycle the old one. StJames Design Interiors

I like the combo of the two styles it adds interest. Everything white works too, but I think i prefer the oak with the white. Just comes down to personal preference really. Neither way is right or wrong.

I like your photo's shade style. What you perhaps can do is source the ceiling rose / suspension and the actual shade separately. It gives you more choice and will probably save you money as well. Definitely had a glass shade. What your looking for is a replacement with a neck so the lip sits on top of the screws. i agree warm brass and copper would look good. I’m not so sure about gold though! White or chrome would look a bit dull against the grey.
