Comments (23)Hi Michael, Sorry, but I have to partially disagree with you on this, daylight colour temperature is 6500K not 4000K. Yes, 4000K is warmer than 6500K but it does not give a truer representation of colour. Colour representation is measured using the colour rendering index or CRI. The closer to 100, the closer to daylight. The Megaman LEDs are 80 CRI for each of the colour temperatures. That said, the 4000K fitting will produce a brighter and cleaner feel to the room. However, it can look too harsh at night. 2700K is closer to traditional halogen fittings. It can look duller during the day, but looks a lot more welcoming in the evening - perfect for a soak in the bath. It comes down to personal preference in the end...See MoreWhite or silver led flush ceiling lights for kitchen diner?
Comments (9)Hi Claire, as Litecraft have already pointed out it does depend on what you are going to have in the rest of your kitchen but for me I would go with the Chrome option as think it will make your lights stand out more. If you want to go for something different to chrome there is also a satin nickel option too like this one which isn't as shiny as the chrome options like the one below. As there are quite a few different options you can have a look at our range by clicking this link: Downlights Also you didn't mention if you was having round or square lights so you can see the square options here as there are many available which you can also have as twin, triple of even quad options! Square Downlight Options Hope this helps you out, but if you need any more information then feel free to send us a message and we'll be happy to help....See MoreArt and colour for the kitchen
Comments (7)I'd put a shelf on that wall. Perhaps an oak one. You could use it to add some light to the far corner too. Either lights on the underside or a clamp lamp, whatever floats your boat. You can lean art on it and put your radio on it.... possibilities galore...See Moreis there any way of making the fridge flush?
Comments (30)We planned a very successful kitchen using the Ikea planner a good few years ago. I've discovered a new term on this thread and now I need someone to tell me what a flyover shelf is. (You can't see that I'm embarrassed not knowing...)...See MoreTani H-S
