Should I put in a picture wall? How?
Comments (14)Your photographs are lovely and very high quality. I would advise you to pick one favourite image in portrait format and have it made into a wall-mural. There are several companies that will use your own image to create a bespoke wallpaper, including Photowall and wallpaperink. Whichever firm you choose can make a bespoke, image that with fit the wall perfectly....See MoreHow should I light this living room?
Comments (1)Hi ! Congrats on the purchase !!! I think the red carpet doesn't help - it's absorbing all the light !! So if you have something lighter that will help ! Natural light can flow in if you set curtains so the fabric hangs on the walls either side - rather than in front of the windows... If you want mellow lighting then having lamps that all come on either individually or even switched from the wall as one lot could work well? For task lighting ( for reading etc) have a brighter angled lamp, that is only switched on when you need it. Personally I like soft lights - but some prefer brighter - depends what you use the room for ! I only use central pendant lights as a last resort - I think there are much more interesting ways to bring light in ! Hope that helps a little ! Comments (3)Hi Helen, You’ve done a great job with the renovation - it looks really good! I suggest adding a long shelf to your newly painted fireplace, making a feature of the wall and creating the illusion of a modern mantel. To dress the shelf, add a simple mirror such as this beautiful Heart of House Mirror with golden detailing. Try hanging the mirror so it appears to rest on the shelf to create a stylish, relaxed feel within your living room. http://bit.ly/2dglCsj Pair this with clustered accessories that carry through the golden details of the mirror, and pops of colour to compliment your walls and furnishings. Accessories such as the below would look great in your room: http://bit.ly/2d3BDfG http://bit.ly/2dfx7Mg http://bit.ly/2dgni56 Happy decorating and please let me know how you get on! Comments (5)If you have a designer on board they should be able to show you different options with their CAD programme - I do this for people quite often if they can't decide on finishes - although sometimes small changes like swapping out a Belfast sink for an undermount one can make it a little time consuming - having the choice makes it worth it so the client can really see the difference ! As I work for the client - it's all part of the service ! (Then we suggest you shop around and negotiate some great deals with your OnePlan design, which enables you to compare prices 'like for like' rather than having several different designs with all different prices ! We don't sell product - just design)...See Moretoutesuite
