Awkward long narrow Bathroom design HELP
Comments (5)Hi there, It looks like it will work like that although the bath is obviously under a very low part of the ceiling. Ideally you need to see an elevation of the end wall to determine exactly how high the ceiling is at the point you step out of the bath. You don't want it so low you hit your head on it ever time you get out of the bath! I would also consider using a 1700 mm long bath along that end wall and running the soil pipe out along the near wall so your WC is on the immediate left of the door as you walk in. This might give you both the WC and the head end of the bath under the tall part of the room....See MoreBathroom design help
Comments (8)hi. Have you tried swapping the shower and loo round? You may be able to go for 1200x800 shower and create a recessed shower. Alternatively go for the next size down if you want to create a niche in the wall for shampoo storage etc. I'd have a 600 wall hung unit for storage (being able to see the floor increases the sense of space). Are you tiling all over? Ask a plumber about a recessed shower as it will make it more streamlined but it depends where the soil pipes are and cost, practicalities of moving...See MoreAdvice for lower-ground renovation (en-suite + walk-in wardrobe)

Comments (18)We've finally decided on a plan! We're having white metro tiles half way up the wall on all three walls apart from the towel rail wall (opposite the bath). Currently we have skirting all round the room. The thing we're stuck on is, do we tile all the wall to the floor and have the skirting removed, keeping skirting on the none tiled walls. Or keep the skirting all the way round. We're having the coving removed to help with the height issue and make the room feel taller (hopefully!). Also getting new flooring. I've included photos of the wall opposite the bath for reference. Let me know if you think any of our ideas will look silly though as I know you guys are so helpful and can visualise things better than me!...See Moredaniellehinves83
