Paint the bay window wall green as well?

Have now finished one bedroom wall in Little Greene’s Ulla, which is a soft light green and painted all the woodwork bright white.
The other walls painted in Dulux’ Timeless.
Was hoping I was finished painting but am now wondering whether I should perhaps paint the wall with the bay window in Ulla as well.
Your thoughts (again) much appreciated!

Comments (2)I would have put a wall between the sitting and dining rooms, while leaving the dining’s layout as it is. Without the wall the ground floor seems to be a very open space, which is not ideal if you have children of any ages...See Morebay window colour. white windows right decision?

Comments (25)Hi, I live in a Victorian house too with a bay - and had a similar dilemma. Someone on a forum recommended a company in Wales (I think!) that make lovely iron curtain poles - so that’s what we did, and we’ve never looked back!! The company have a (basic) website - it explains how to measure (you have to do several measurements which they then use to ensure a perfect fit!). The pole arrived as one solid piece that was bent at all the right places. We chose a gorgeous white with simple small white balls as the finals. You can choose different thicknesses of pole too. It’s attached to the wall with 3 fittings - one in the middle and one at each end. In theory we could have just two wide curtains on it, but in reality we chose to hang 4 curtains - one on each end and one in each corner to pull across the back. We went for white as we didn’t want the heavy look of the black poles - our house had those when we moved in and we wanted something a bit different and more neutral. We hung light white curtains to start with but currently have a heavy dark grey velvet. Both looked great with the pole as it’s very unobtrusive. I can’t remember the cost but I do remember it being cheaper than I was expecting - more than Ikea (!!) but less than John Lewis - and it’s totally bespoke and one one solid pole. Comments (12)Wow @rinked! Thank you very very much for taking the time to shaffle the furnitures around for me. That's great!!! :) Really really appreciate it!! I do hope I won't lose the cosy feeling of the living room to be honest but I really feel I lack space to move around right now. From time to time, we also use the place to host any guests over with an airbed or use it to put laundry to dry so space is really vital to us. The sofa is actually orange, see photo below, and I don't really like the colour so I was thinking to buy a sofa cover to dress it up. I have heard designers advise to use light colours for the couch so not sure if I should pick a beige or a light pattern like the ones below. And I was also thinking of a rug as well so I guess the best thing is to first buy the sofa cover and then move to the rug to match everything. You can find the pictures of the different cupboards below: I do know and understand that this is far from ideal... But when I bought everything I was just in a hurry to do so since we didn't have ANY storage within the place. I do want to repaint them at some point but not sure this can be done within the house and we don't have a garden or so. Looking forward to your answers people!!!
