A patterned cushion on the little chair will work wonders and art work - when you can manage it - that is bigger and has some brightness to it. I prefer the white curtains - the navy is too solid and heavy. If you put your nice ottoman back in there under the window - again with a throw or colourful cushion - and try the chest of drawers at the foot of your bed (when you have some strength and aren't tired) the furniture will look better. I like the idea of chandelier bedside lamps. If you do that, get one much taller than what you have now. What is your overhead lighting? There are nice round chandelier type shades you can get that'll throw the light around the room nicely. I still covet your lovely dresser :)...See MoreOld pine kitchen hand painted for a new lease of life
Comments (11)Thank you so much for the lovely comments! This kitchen was painted using Tikkurila Feelings colour matched to Little Greene whitening 41. I remove all the doors, drawers & hardware. Then degrease & sand before applying colour matched Otex primer, then Tikkurila primer as an undercoat(also colour matched) followed by a few coats of Tikkurila Feelings. A light sand between coats is important to get a really solid, smooth finish. I highly recommend this paint system for it durability and aesthetic. It is gorgeous. Please take a look at my Facebook page to see other works completed. I am planning on updating my Houzz as soon as I get chance :-) please feel free to get in touch if you have any further questions. Thank you, Sharon....See MoreDecrepit Notting Hill Property Brought Back to Life!
Comments (6)Absolutely love this property. Perhaps strange but one of my favourite elements here is the back entrance view, the seamless pairing of contemporary glass design with the traditional build, and the warmth radiating out from the sleek white walls is so attractive!...See MoreA North facing kitchen transformation
