Before and After of our penny flooring project in Marylebone, London. We used old and new pennies for the pattern and lacquered the top to finish. It won the approval of my Jack Russell Max!

Thanks everyone! Interesting how suddenly the article gets picked up again! We actually finished renovating and sold the flat in January 2017 and bought a farmhouse in need of full renovation! Funnily enough we've just been doing more bathrooms - turning one very large bathroom into an en suite and bathroom. I've been trying to keep up to date (ish) on my blog woodenwindowsills.co.uk and there are lots of ensuite renovation highlights on my instagram @woodenwindowsills - when we've finished I'll be sure to post another before and after as this one is a completely different style, and I love it!

All of the projects are very impressive, the transformations are all pretty amazing and should definitely provide inspiration to anyone looking to do similar projects. I was personally torn between the country kitchen and the sloping garden, in the end my vote went to the sloping garden project, the transformation from a blank awkward looking area to such a cleverly designed and attractive space is amazing.

I've seen examples of penny floors in smaller areas but not to that scale, It looks fantastic.

I think its great when designs are out of the box, thats where new beautiful ideas stem from.
