what is the dimensions of the structure

Hello I was wondering the height at the hugest middle center point n height on the lowest outer corners of the structure and how wide it is and how deep and the length. It mentioned 500 rsf but I was wondering the actual dimensions. Thank you

This structure is about 20X25 with a center height around 14.5 feet. I believe the corner posts were 8 feet high.

I think the plan looks more like this?? Therefore, the plumbing is at the rear of the house as you'd expect. Thus the kitchen needs to be near that. So, i'm guessing that you may have room by the stairs for a little window or possibly a light tunnel. As you say the back garden is level to that floor, i'd put in french doors for extra light at the rear. I would not knock down the wall between the dining room and the corridor as, with the kitchen the other side of the rear, you will have no view of it from the relaxing area behind the dining room table - I would also retain around 500-600mm of the wall between the kitchen and the dining room so that a structural steel can sit above it without ( hopefully ) the need for underpinning or a party wall agreement. - ALWAYS CHECK! TBH to me it just looks like the difference in the lighting, nothing else. The uneveness between wall and ceiling is apparent in both. What do you mean, the ceiling is just laid on top of the wall? I have never in my life seen a lift up ceiling. Just think about it logically for a minute and you will realise what you are alleging is impossible.

Hi there, I have had a chance to chat with one of our Building Regulation officers who has come back with some pointers for you. "The cross sectional dimensions are shown on the structural engineer's drawings and the length of the beam is to be confirmed by the builder on site - It's very important that the builder confirm this length with site measurements of the actual opening (plus bearing at each end) to avoid any risk of the beam not fitting well. It will always be the builder's responsibility in general to ensure that correct materials are ordered. If the length being requested is purely for pricing for the steel rather than ordering; then the dimension of the space can be requested from your architectural designer.
