The floor of the ground floor extension was poured last week so efforts have been focused on the refurbishment while the floor dries. The plastering is almost complete on the first floor so we can finally see the finished rooms. We retained the original floorboards and with the protective layers removed they can finally be seen in their full glory. We reused the floorboards from the ground floor to fill in the gap where the chimneys were removed, and the result is fantastic!
