Project Flooring LVT-Anyone used?

Hi we are about to decide on the new flooring for our new kitchen extension and have narrowed it down to Kardean or Project Floors. We prefer the look of the Project Floor and it has a 0.55 wear layer vs 0.3 on the Kardean we like. Wanted to see if anyone has had first hand experience on Project Floors and what their experience has been. I know it does depend on the quality of fit. Thanks in advance.

Bumping up for you.
Not heard of them personally but I’m gettingLVT from Cavalio (which is Polyfloor) commercial grade glue down (they also do a click version) with 0.55 wear . Fitter said it’s really good quality, easy to fit and to me, is a much better/more realistic finish than the Karndean I saw.

It cost me just over £20 sqm and is commercial grade. They will send you a sample book for colours and the commercial one is the Projectline which isn’t in the shops.
I’m v impressed with it, I must say.

Thanks Tani....like you I preferred the look of Project over Karndean and the wear layer is better but they are both the same price. I have come across Polyfloor but I think it was the cheaper version with only 0.3mm wear...I will have a look at Cavalio. Thanks

Another suggestion for you......adhesive vinyl roll! Specifically, that made by DC Fix. We used a textured metallic finish inside a kitchen cabinet as part of it’s transformation into a bar cabinet. I found it easy to use and very forgiving for repositioning etc. We bought ours from vinyl warehouse but lots of places sell it. If you check out the DC Fix website they have it on bathroom sinks, kitchen cabinets, worktops etc. I’m not sure if they have different levels of quality but I’m sure you could check easily. I just scrubbed an off-cut of ours with the rough side of a bathroom sponge and it didn’t scuff it. Hi Huw, Polyflor are a top UK (Manchester) manufacturer. The 0.55mm wear layer gives it a heavy commercial rating. You'll get tired of it's looks way before it wears out… true story! Not sure about the origins of Luvanto. QA have sourced it from the manufacturer and put their own label on it. QA are a flooring distributor. Doubt you'll be able to buy directly from them and most likely will have to buy through a third party. We'd recommend you approaching both Polyflor and QA, asking for the technical data sheets for these products, saying you specifically want to know what the UV rating is for these products and are they guaranteed not to fade? We'd recommend not taking Jonathan's acrylic high gloss floor polish suggestion. Tani, where did you end up getting your Cavalio from? You mention commercial grade so did you go for Projectline?

Hi Martin,

we supply Project Floor and their quality is superb. Very sensibly priced too and tend to be a bit cheaper than some other competitors. However 0.55 wear layer from Project Floor refer to their commercial grade products which are much more expensive than their residential products which have 0.3mm wear layer (or 0.2 or 0.4mm).

I can supply 0.55mm wear layer too but I think it's a bit of an overkill on residential projects. msg me for an accurate quote.

I was impressed by the look of Project Floors but please DON’T. Mine isn’t even fully laid yet and I have scratches appearing everywhere! It looks dirty very easily and the bevelled edge shines artificially.
Looking at reviews online it appears I’m not the only one. Having mine pulled up and starting again.
