Help find a grey
Comments (25)I finished my kitchen project last year and used I think about 8 or 9 different shades of grey all F&B. I mixed and matched so that they were all the same cool tones but every wall was painted a different colour - I did buy Pigeon but it was relegated to be used for something else. Its quite a subtle effect but you really get the change of light and shade at different times of the day and in different lights. I can't remember them all but I'll check my plan tonight and let you know tomorrow. I have a dark grey gloss kitchen in a period house with slate floor and wooden work-surfaces and I'm really pleased with the results. if you haven't committed to one shade you might give it a go! Its only paint!...See MoreTo Clad or Not to Clad
Comments (32)Stop making me blush ;-) I like the more taupe ones too. They go better with the colour of your roof, I think. And I really like the Iron Grey one. Victoria's house looks beautiful! I stand by the sentiment that in an attached property you have to respect your neighbourhood and streetscape more than in a detached property. In my opinion the examples below aren’t dreadful but do help you see that absence of cohesion...See MoreWhite or grey windows?
Comments (7)No problem at all. It's one of the biggest dilemmas we come across. In that case, perhaps going for a lighter grey that would stand out less could be an option- please see our colour guide here: http://bit.ly/origin-available-finishes I would be happy to send you some free colour samples of the shades you particularly like which may also help you. Lastly, don't forget the dual colour option. If you'd like an anthracite grey on the exterior frames but feel that another colour would best suit the inside of your home, we can manufacture dual colour frames with any combination. Thanks, Robyn...See MoreLaura Richmond
