I have a black granite work top should I go for a lighter couloir light or does it not matter?

I have 3 lights to go over island and one which I want glass over a table in kitchen. The picture below shows my light choices. If I go for the black light then the green glass above will go over my table. If pewter then the green glass below. I have included a picture of kitchen and granite top

I like the third one (second row, left hand side) because I like the copper effect inside it.

Thanks my concern is black over black and we have silver colour handles and appliances and brushed Nickle taps. I had only just realised this when u pointed out copper inside of light. Do you think this would still work

Hi, I'd Base the decision on whether you have underfloor heating and also based on the look you are trying to achieve. If you have UFH, I'd go for large format porcelain tiles, which are easier to clean and maintain with minimal grout lines. Personally, I like wood effect as it warms up the whites and greys but you could go for a stone effect or marble....as your kitchen is neutral, you could pair anything. If you don't have underfloor heating, I find tiles to be very cold under the foot and would rather opt for Luxury Vinyl Tiles such as Amtico or Karndean. They are warmer to the touch, durable and doesn't uplift/expand when in contact with water, if laid properly and you can still get them in wood effect, stone effect, etc. It is quite pricey when compared to laminates or ceramic tiles but it's tough and durable.

Perhaps move the island to the left, so the distance between island and tall units on the left side is about 100 cm and then put something like this over it? You could possibly do that too without moving the island:

I am very fond of the black one (right top corner on the picture) above the island! It's elegant, works very well with the style of the kitchen and complements the worktop. See-through-glass lamps above a dining table look cool but just be aware if the light (by meaning bulb) is strong it could be quite uncomfortable to dine at.
