Comments (24)If I'd had full length panels I might have gone for wider slats but with tier on tier the panels are smaller so I only got a few slats in each. It didn't look right. Also wider slats need offsetting more to avoid catching on window handles which mean frame sticks out more. Hopefully photo explains that....See MoreBay window dressing, shutters or blinds??
Comments (11)Light and window access...the most common concerns exhibited by 99.9% of our customers!! The vast majority of them go on to say that their new shutters do not block out anywhere near as much light as they anticipated and window access is not a problem! Many customers also feel that their rooms look bigger as a result. You mentioned that "you know they will look great" and that they are very fashionable...sounds to me like your answer lies within your question. :) Plantation shutters are also the only window treatment that adds value to your home...something else to consider when making your decision!! Best of luck! Comments (4)Hi thank you for your suggestions. The Thomas Sanderson blinds look quite good, at least they seem to do flat blades rather than wingtip profile. I'm going to book an appointment with them. Unfortunately they don't have a showroom but hopefully I can see what their shutters look like when they come round. Still not quite the subtle elegance of the ones in the photos I posted but getting closer!...See MoreGabby Wong
