Comments (132)They are lovely handles Patrina. I'm having a bit of a handle issue since the holes in the pull handles on the four drawers are 83mm centre to centre and there are not many options with that sizing in brushed brass. I've found a couple of possibilities from china but with the problems there I'm not sure how long they will take to arrive....See MoreSmall bathroom and small ensuite or large bathroom?
Comments (3)From what your describing we had the same thing going on,I didn't like the ensuite( too small) and the bathroom needed to be bigger,so we got rid of the ensuite and put a door between our bedroom and bathroom like a jack and Jill. After a while I felt it just didn't work so we closed up the wall and we now have one big bathroom.im glad we did it now. I too wondered if it would devalue the house and I'm sure if a larger family moved in it could be a bit of a problem, maybe someone from the real estate world will pop in and give you some advice. Good luck with whatever way you choose to go....See MoreEn-suite advice please :-)
Comments (11)I understand what you are saying! :) It's resistant to mould and cracking so no worries there either. Microcement is trowelled on at a thickness of 3mm and depending on the technique applied it has effects resembling marble, stone, metal and even rust! Almost any substrate can be coated with microcement so you can have bespoke units or even furniture fabricated and then coated. Cost is comparable to a good quality tile once labour, adhesive and grout is factored in....See MoreOne door or two - Ensuite vs Bathroom
Comments (5)If you re jig the internal walls a little - you can centralise the bed to the windows and have a slightly larger En-Suite - with easy access from office and bedroom, as those are the main areas you need to access it from. Then the walk in wardrobe area (with access to void beyond) can still be a decent size, without compromising the symmetry of the bed position. I haven’t put in the sloped ceiling - so mirror over sink might not be quite as shown and towel storage may not be quite as tall - but this gives you the idea perhaps?...See MoreMaths Wife
