New house plan of downstairs help!

We are moving into a new home - mainly for the area. However, having some dispute about how the down stairs of this house would work best. We have cash to extend - however wouldn't want to go out any further than 2 meters just as it would eat into the garden too much.My thoughts are to keep the TV snug as a snug /kids room and the left hand side reception room as an office getting rid of the door.Anyway the dilemma is the kitchen dining family room. Is there any way of havung a separate living room (maybe with french doors onto the kitchen diner?) or how would a kitchen diner work?Thanks in advance for any support!
