Comments (13)Stunning effect for small rooms is a good idea, it will make forget the room is small! ;-) According to this, i would paint one wall dark (black, steel grey, night blue or dark brown) and do the same with the drawer chest. Then you can go for any headboard : neutral color fabric, plain deep red or jade green or golden fabric(this last one looks stunning on any dark wall), wood or bamboo headboard but with a simple shape if you look for a zen atmosphere , or for a statement a really oriental shape one in red or golden ! I know it seems hard, but going till the end of your ideas ( the oriental look of the curtains) will improve the curtains and the all room. Chloe yes I love wall mounted taps too, we are definitely getting wall mounted for bath but I don’t think we can for basin as it’s an external wall so unless a plumber can do something very clever we’d probably have to put some extra studwork in there which would reduce the width of the room which we can’t do unless we made the shower smaller than a 900x900 quadrant which we also don’t want to do! I love the crosswater brushed brass taps, but I can’t seem to find a tall basin mixer tap version of the range, and we need a tall mixer tap as we’d love a countertop basin. It’s so frustrating when the companies don’t do all the different types of tap for that range, some of them I find don’t do showerhead versions either so you can’t match it all up!...See MoreHow to Fit a Shower Tray

4 years agoI attached mine with craft glue dots, it's held up well. In the past with wider flat braid I've used little picture nails about a foot apart and that also works fine.

I've never seen it in anyone's house before to be honest, but saw it in a show home about 20 years ago and have copied a few times since. Always gets positive comments.
I chose this 3 tones of grey one to tie in the different greys in my flooring trim.
