Hi guys, I need to replace my garage. I'll be getting a concrete pad laid in a better position, but not sure whether to go with brick and block double skin (pricey?), a pre-fab garage or a large shed?
Hi Hugh, a pic would be nice. My 2 yr old garage is single brick, and very sturdy. Our garage is in the garden accessed by a service road out the back. We chose bricks because we couldn’t get a lorry up the service road to deliver the wood or metal sheets for a prefab one, which would have been cheaper. The window was a freebie off Facebook and it has a flat roof and electric garage doors out the back. Cost £15,000.
Photographs would be really helpful Hugh, not only of the area where you plan to put the concrete pad, but also of your house and garden showing the style, etc.
