Comments (36)Room with a View. What do you do with the kennel in the garden of a house you've just moved into with teenagers but no dogs? You get us to make a bespoke garden room for them to stay in with their friends. Here it is. Please contact us for more photos or information....See MoreGarden shed colour
Comments (5)Well, grey is a great foil for any planting to work against, along with being a colour soft on the eyes. I think that is a good choice. However colour is a very personal thing and wouldn't steer anyone away from what they liked. Especially if it is easily changed, as it would be in this case. Good luck...See MoreGarden summer house or shed
Comments (7)I think putting a hard building in that gap would be a mistake. You need some gorgeous landscaping and you could create a fabulous vista there. I have attached some pictures of what I think could work really well. Also have a look at hazel hurdles, you can install these with ease ( wooden posts driven into the ground and the hurdles attached to it. They have a wonderful soft appearance against green planting and sit well in any type of gardens. That would give you a lovely view from inside and increase the feeling of space in the garden, then maybe a garden room can sit somewhere else in the garden to give you that extra room you need? photo credit @hannah dean interiors...See MoreHow can we make our garden outbuilding shed look more attractive?
Comments (7)Thanks for your help guys. This is a bit of an old photo so we’ve added some raised beds in the area in front of the outbuilding, we’re also going to add in a proper stone sett path next year. We‘re half way through converting part of the building into a chicken coop (we crazy) so we‘re in two minds about whether gravel will be suitable in front of the shed so we will see. I think I plan on recladding the shed with unpainted feather edge boards which will help. I’m also thinking of changing the door and windows to a light colour, perhaps white. Good point about the roofline, it’s rather close to the door so that might look silly. You've given me lots to think about, I’ll post an update soon....See MoreDaisy England
