7ft Bedspread dilemma

I have an emperor bed 7ft and cannot find a plain navy quilted bedspread in a good quality to go on the bed, Ive looked everywhere and now maybe need someone to make one for me. Can anyone help please? Thanks

I got my Emperor Douvet and cover from them. Also got hotel style plain white Douvet cover from a site on e-bay (can't remember who they are though)

I like beige. I just thought that you might have thought it was boring! I agree that it is a very beautiful duvet, it is busy, in a good way though. If you like the colour beige, I would definitely go with it. You can't really go wrong and at least that leaves plain walls which you can do so much with. Patterns can restrict. I think that your dark furniture, with this gorgeous duvet would more than speak for itself. Hope this helps.

Hello Ali, I would avoid the Roman blinds as they would block out too much light. I am not convinced about the pole either as the photo suggests that you have little or no deadlight (the space between the top of the window and the ceiling. I would opt for a fabric covered board with a small fascia at the front and a full width track so that it suggests you have proper curtains even if they are only dress. Also make sure the curtains are full, otherwise they risk looking like strings of spaghetti! Good luck.

Hi Samantha, You could have the legs touching the slope to create a real table effect otherwise a floating bedside table looks fantastic too. Being as it’s a small room, white will do good and make it appear airy which you want really. I think grey could clash with the feature wall so I would recommend duck egg blue on the walls if not white. If you do go for the duck egg walls, then definitely incorporate some white in the bedding and then duck egg blue and grey accessories. These cool shades will do wonders for the size of the space. Like the above suggestions, blinds will diffuse more light into the room as well. White wood effect would look lovely! It will compliment for the bedroom furniture for sure.

I like the idea of tying it in - I'd be a bit worried about painting all the walls in that colour as it may be too dark. My other thought was to continue the tongue and groove panelling around (same as the built in wardrobe finish) but costwise I think that would be too much and the same two wall dilemma would occur. I am also going to make a nice new tall headboard - I like the look of the lighter coloured one against the dark blue in your pics
