Comments (2)Hello, how would you manage an in frame kitchen? Can you do spraying on site (looks like it from your second pic)? Also what kind of paint do you use eg lacquer, 2 part polyurethane?...See MoreKitchen respray - navy blue
Comments (11)Well did you do it at the end? If so, what did you decide and please pictures :) I have found out that Howden’s Clerkenwell Supermatt Navy is supposed to be 5011. DIY Kitchens have a similar one called Luca Cobham Blue which they say is RAL 5004 (but also say it’s colour matched to FandB Hague Blue (but they can’t be the same as the RAL vs Hague blue look very different). From the photos it’s the blue I like least but I heard great things about that company and they are priced fairly. There is also a Lucente Matt Indigo blue from TKC (I never heard of them until I searched it) and they also say RAL 5004, and again, somehow it seems to look slightly different from DIY kitchens blue so who knows. Unfortunately, it’s from a company I haven’t heard of (google it) but apparently it’s flat packed which is putting me off, specifically as I know how annoyingly hard it is to put things like drawers together, however, I seem to really like that colour best from all three so I don’t know what to go with. Price is similar, but only if you ‘negotiate’ with Howdens and get their 70% trade discount. I have to decide pretty soon.......See MoreSkimming Stone Kitchen Units but stuck for a wall colour - any advice
Comments (5)yes please upload a photo, can get more an idea, depending on your worktop colours, appliance colours etc :) BUT, I have used skimming stone before and matched it with white paintwork though it did feel abit cold . If i remember i added some light pink toned accent pieces around the place and incorporated some darker wood elements because i have a medium oak floor . Light pink roses etc...See MoreKitchen respray vs hand painted kitchen
Comments (3)We just repainted some doors in a rustoleum kitchen cupboard paint which is a darker colour but it was painted on with a short hair roller and you can't tell its been painted by hand ie so they might not use a brush as such but still a roller would be classed as hand painted vs spray painted (if that makes sense). Nightmare re the scratches though! I would have expected them to send new units/doors to replace the ones you have now and then the old ones get sent back once the new ones are ready. That's what happened with our old kitchen ie the company we bought off got the manufacturer to send new ones as they had someone come and inspect them and agreed that they hadn't been prepped properly as the paint came off the edges. That way we weren't left without kitchen doors for months!...See MoreJuliet Docherty
