Comments (4)Here is an article about sage kitchens. Ignore the bit about complementary colours, it's talking pure piffle.... 'green is directly opposite red on the colour wheel, meaning they complement each other better than any other colours'. Complementary colours when saturated, clash, that's how they work. They need to be carefully balanced in order to sit well together. I think what you are after is a value contrast which means an increase in the darks to anchor the space? In addition you could add contrast with warmth so a darker warmer floor may help? I think the image below is interesting because the deep wall colour brings the room to life whilst still relating to the unit colour. The woods and copper coloured light also creates balance and contrast. I would be possibly be looking at someting warmer with a bit more depth on the floor, or a wood floor. Charcoal, deep teals, natural slate,, just barely there warm whites, rich wood. https://www.omegaplc.co.uk/the-feed/lifestyle/sage-green-kitchen-ideas...See MoreSnug sofa - can anyone recommend please?
Comments (9)Whatever you choose, if you buy anything online you can return it for whatever reason within 30 days. These are your Distant Selling Statutory Rights. You need to advise them within 14 days that you wish to return the item and then return it within the next 14 days. There will probably be a Returns Cost. I did this with some dining chairs I bought from Wayfair which looked fab but were sooo uncomfortable. Then I bought replacements from John Lewis which are so comfy. Good luck with your search....See MoreAny recommendations for where to find pastel pink/champagne vanity pls
Comments (4)I ended up using Harvey George for my vanity as they are bespoke and I was so disappointed by the quality of the off the peg options. The quality was excellent but they’re not budget. I came very close to purchasing a modern sideboard - there seems very little construction quality difference, so you would only need a composite top to make it waterproof. However, once I priced up the cupboard, composite top, tap, waste, etc etc, there was barely much saving....See MoreJuliet Docherty
