Comments (6)Thanks Minnie, really love that Portland stone.. I don't think I can source that here in Ireland , but will have a chat with them in the paint shop, and see if they can match something as close as, for sampling. Thank you again...See MoreExternal Paint Recommendations please.

Comments (4)Here is an article about sage kitchens. Ignore the bit about complementary colours, it's talking pure piffle.... 'green is directly opposite red on the colour wheel, meaning they complement each other better than any other colours'. Complementary colours when saturated, clash, that's how they work. They need to be carefully balanced in order to sit well together. I think what you are after is a value contrast which means an increase in the darks to anchor the space? In addition you could add contrast with warmth so a darker warmer floor may help? I think the image below is interesting because the deep wall colour brings the room to life whilst still relating to the unit colour. The woods and copper coloured light also creates balance and contrast. I would be possibly be looking at someting warmer with a bit more depth on the floor, or a wood floor. Charcoal, deep teals, natural slate,, just barely there warm whites, rich wood. https://www.omegaplc.co.uk/the-feed/lifestyle/sage-green-kitchen-ideas...See MoreRecommendations for Crittall Style French Doors Please
Comments (5)Not an area within my experience, unfortunately - not sure why there might be a big disparity in costs, but I would encourage you to get detailed quotes from the various possible suppliers and look cloesely to see the differences. There may be a variety of different ranges on offer, so you may not be comparing apples with apples. But in the window industry, it may also be folk just trying to get away with maximising profit wherever they can!...See MoreJuliet Docherty
