What worktop with Cream Gloss Units?
Hi all, would really appreciate your help. I have a wood effect Amtico floor with cream gloss units, got them a couple of years ago and we now need to get worktops. I love the look of wood oak worktops but can’t be bothered with the maintenance and so need advice on a what colour quartz or granite would look nice? One thing i should say is id like a beautiful worktop thats says ‘wow’ as opposed to a dull grey that i’d never look twice at. Need to order this week so would appreciate your suggestions! Some pics below, with the odd sample too.

Comments (1)Hi, All of what you have suggested should work well... good colour combination and yes, the bamboo worktops should be less maintenance to those made of oak. As for the sink, white shouldn't cause any problems with the colour in the room. The picture below may have a black granite worktop, but the drip rail and the units are similar colours to what you are planning to work with. Hope that helps - Best of luck! 4 years agoHello, thanks for the advice and comments, so I went to a place today and these three stood out, even though the black star galaxy is supposed to be a very overused granite and apparently a bit boring I still find it very beautiful to look at, the creamy one is called Taj Mahal and the guy was really pushing that but I’m not sure it would suit the modern style units I have?

4 years agoBlack tops on gloss cream kitchens sounds rather 90/00s to me :)
I like the taupe one, but might be a little dull without any pattern, perhaps Silestone Coral Clay or Ceasarstone Symphony Grey or Primordia?
Would be nice to find the exact same color cream, which will allow for a bold wall color or accessories.

4 years agoYes as much as I like the busy granites I don’t think they suit my kitchen, they seem to be more used in Shaker style kitchens with units with handles etc. I saw a Ceaserstone excara earlier, and yes Bianco drift... I think my issue with a lot of the Caesar Stone products are that they are very repetitive and therefore boring to look at and I have to rely on an extravagant splashback to bring the kitchen together, however the excara seems to have a bit more going on? Picture below, thoughts?
