Paint colour help for North facing living room

Our sitting room is well overdue a paint.
It's a north westerly facing sitting room with a big box bay window. The house is a late Georgian semi.
Three of the walls are currently painted in timeless, the wall with the brown sofa is painted in brilliant white - we moved a door so it had been freshly plastered.
I was thinking that a pink based neutral would look good but there's a swatch of f&b dimity above the the fabric sofa and I'm not overly enamoured.
Would a bolder colour be better?
All furniture is staying but I could make different Roman blinds.
The room gets sun shining in across the bay window from about 4pm onwards and it also sometimes gets sun shining in reflecting off the opposite houses.
Any help would be most appreciated!

We have this and as I said the copper creates a really warm light and makes it look pinker

Clear out all pics & ornaments & unnecessary items. Get fireplace re-tiled or boxed in. Find some cushions you really like. Paint all walls white and the fireplace wall a feature colour to link with sofas & cushions. Find Mirror for above fireplace. Now you can bring back in some ornaments etc : D Also, what is the flooring?

Wimborne White is light and warm without being too obviously yellow. Skimming Stone is worth looking at too as it seems to go with lots of colours - I have used it with Inchyra Blue and it works well.

You shouldn’t need to repost - you can edit it (on a pc webpage) and I’d add it to design dilemma as that’s where I think a lot of people follow

We used dusk in the valley by valspar for this room, as with the glow from the lamp/copper on the inside of the light it gives a warm glow from the light as well... depends whether you use it more during the day or in the evening. It’s an east facing room but because of the dormer and being a small window it’s not the brightest

ooh that's rather lovely - thank you for sharing
it looks like it has pinky hues which is what I'm erring towards.
we tend to use the sitting room more in the evening so it would have a nice cosy feel.
