Wierd screw help

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><md>Can someone tell me how to get these screws out!!!
They are holding together a little coffee table and I've smashed it, bashed it, crowbarred it, jumped on it and it's not budging!!
I want to take the table apart to use the wood, but there's going to be nothing left of the wood if I can't get the legs off nicely! No sign of entrance or exit for the screw. There's about four of these wierd screws attaching the leg to the table top and there is NO clue as to how they even got on, let alone off!!

Hi Emma. Do you have a photo? Houzz can be a little slow to upload photos, just wait till it goes clear before hitting submit. I had a similar problem when taking my old shed apart as the screws had rusted solid and I resorted to a pry bar. I don’t suggest it tho because it will damage the wood. If you can get hold of the edge then a chunky pair of pliers should do the trick. Think there a special tool as well but no idea what it’s called, my hubby might know as he’s worked on a few rusted cars in the past. Failing all that...angle grinder and cut through it:-)

It's up to you how much you cover; personally, I'd go for the whole wall - it looks more dramatic. I'm really not good when it comes to curtains and stuff; we went for shutters just because I couldn't do the whole curtains/ blinds thing, however I had a look for you, maybe you can get better advice from others. From the looks of it, your wall is about 4m wide, so I think you might need 2 curtain poles if you go for the whole wall; obviously, only one pole if it's just the window. I found this; they do curtain poles 4m long for about £47. thanks to everyone again for all your suggestions and for the time to help me. to provide you with some feedback on your thoughtful suggestions: Totally agree the undercabinet lighting is completely the wrong shade and i ve been begging my husband to change it to warm white, he said he would but hasnt found the time yet. but it will definitely go. Regarding table and chairs. the chairs are only 6 months old and i cant bring myself to sell those / buy new ones. cant just scrap 6 new chairs. i initially chose them in black over other colours as they tie in with the units in the dining area. i chose those because they are sturdy, my 4 boys cant rock on them and will not get grime stuck in and imposs to remove after half a year due to being black and i honestly do like them. i did buy an eames chair to try out (i originally wanted them in blue) but when my toddler on cancer treatment and my other children fell off it because it wasnt stable i said no. so i think these are for staying... i really like the idea of adding a lamp to the left of the rad and some plants. need to look around. i really like the idea of making the picture wall less "bitty" by painting over the rad and skirting boards. they really dont add to anything. my question is then should i go for white walls then rather than repainting everything in different colour. I also agree that its the tiles that are bothering me more than anything else but cant replace them at the moment. also love the idea of vases and arty display items on top of the units.need a visit to TK maxx! just another point about the paint. its very wierd but it looks very different throughout the day. actually it does look intense greige in teh evenings and milky coffee in the morning! same withtiles they look much more orangey and worse in the morning! again thanking you all for keeping this discussion open and helping along!

Help, condensation between timber and insulation

Hi my question is why is water tracking into the house via the screws in the plywood. it suggests there is a problem in the render as water shouldn't penetrate this to get to the screw. it could be condensation caused by cold bridging with hit meeting the cold exterior temperature. you should have a breather membrane and proper designed wall. interstitial condensation is where condensation occurs in the structure and needs to be designed to occur in the right place. if you get this worked out you wont have long term issues. Did you use a construction professional to help or did the builder just decide in the detail. get some solid advise from a surveyor before putting any insulation in to safeguard the integrity of the building. sorry to sound negative, but you need to make sure your wall system is correct. best Rowland

Tricky one. I’m wondering if it has dowel joints that have been glued on the section on the right. I’m certainly no joiner tho so hopefully someone with more expertise can help.
