White or Anthracite Grey Window/Bifold Door on Extension???
Comments (17)Sliding doors are proving very popular at the moment as they can stack to one side and not protrude into the garden space and be easier to move than full set of bi-folds so that would an approximate opening of about 4m with 3 x 1.250m (plus frame ) panel of glass that would all stack in parallel inline. Or you could try panoramic doors they are more versatile as they are detachable from each other and give you more options for you layout at the finish. There a tutorial on you tube ? Do you have building control on these works as I am finding that architects are making us use a lot more steel as in a goal post design for stability, depending on how wide you want to go with the opening?...See MoreKitchen Trends: Black, Grey or White?

Comments (13)Tani I haven’t been on Houzz as much so not sure where you are on renovation but seen you’re looking at cost effective options. I just wondered if it would be nice as well as cheaper if instead of bifolds you had multiple glazed single doors with brick pillars in between? I can’t find a pic but I’ve seen pics of this on a high end commercial to residential period conversion where I presume they wanted to retain the original openings which were probably windows before but they’d taken the lower bricks out so the windows could be doors. It was a great industrial kitchen living space with lots of exposed brick but lots of light from the glazing....See MoreWhite or grey windows?
Comments (7)No problem at all. It's one of the biggest dilemmas we come across. In that case, perhaps going for a lighter grey that would stand out less could be an option- please see our colour guide here: http://bit.ly/origin-available-finishes I would be happy to send you some free colour samples of the shades you particularly like which may also help you. Lastly, don't forget the dual colour option. If you'd like an anthracite grey on the exterior frames but feel that another colour would best suit the inside of your home, we can manufacture dual colour frames with any combination.
