Please critique my kitchen design
Comments (21)Hmmm, pesky walls! Bearing all that in mind you're probably quite close to what would work best for you. I would suggest though that the tall units stay on the left - if they're on the right you're cutting out a lot of light from your primary natural light source. Also, try not to have your dishwasher tucked right into a corner as that just makes it difficult to work around - sometimes you can crash into handles when opening and closing.. I've tweaked your plan a little which I hope gets you a bit closer to your final solution: good luck!...See MorePlease critique my awkward bathroom layout
Comments (16)Thanks for all your input and the wonderful diagram! I agree that ideally the bath and loo would be swapped. I need to talk to the plumber about how feasible / expensive that would be if it is prohibitively expensive / difficult I think I'll stick with my idea. I've not come up with any good reason not to have the shower in the centre of the bath rather than the end and I hope this might actually give a bit more room when in the shower rather than being squashed up at one end...See Moreplease critique my open area
Comments (45)Swapping the white cabinet and glass table has worked well. I think french chairs looked better in the window but angle them towards each other slightly to make look a little less formal. That still leaves an empty space in the middle of the room tho. Hope you don't mind but I've had a little play with one of your pictures just for some inspiration. I've added a floor lamp instead of table lamp, statement armchair, footstool/ottoman, and a mirror/ art above the white cabinet. One is more modern and the other continues the french theme....See MoreI am planning on painting my lounge grey - need advice
