What do I do with a blank wall?
Comments (8)Hi Luke, Just to throw in another idea, how about a made-to-measure wall mural? Depending on your style, Wallsauce.com have 1000's of images available for you to choose from that are printed onto a variety of wallpapers - including peel and stick. Map murals are quite popular with our customer's... As are woodland murals... Let us know if we can help! Comments (8)I like both suggestions by At No 19 with the additional thought that if you go for an ottoman a round one would tie in with the sideboard design. I'd definitely try to add extra colour and texture to your scheme to give the room interest. Unless your lounge is huge, I think it's both practical and fun to have several smaller pieces that can easily be moved around the room to provide as coffee table and/or extra seating. The space then becomes more flexible and the floor isn't taken up with a large piece of furniture in the centre of it. Try something whacky like this polycarbonate stool from Heal's https://www.heals.com/la-boheme-bell-bottom-stool.html £132, or something more sober https://www.heals.com/stool-60.html?colour=pink £189....See Morewhat to do with this back wall please?
Comments (41)You’ve had some great feedback there, including rearrangement of your chairs and bench. You could consider painting the wall the same colour as the feature wall in your lounge, then add one large colourful piece of art or if you prefer the meaningful photo gallery as previously suggested. You’ve done a great job so far....See MoreHelp needed with sideboard size and tv position
Comments (13)Hi Darren, I think when you have the space its always better to go bigger. As life and time changes we all end up needing more storage space in the end. Choosing the larger option also helps disguise more of the plug sockets and cables on that wall which can look insigthly when your sat on the sofa. In order for rooms to feel relaxed and have flow, where possible it's also important to maintain balance but centreing items to each other. Therefore i agree the TV should sit in the middle of the side board. I would also bring the TV down further on the wall. You don't want to be craning your neck and eyes up to look at the TV when sat on the sofa. I'd love to work with you on your interior project.
