Need help for the windows handle
Comments (3)Hello Vikram, I think brass is nice with black personally and I would suggest wood for Windows and doors as UPVC does not add value to the home. You may never want to move but wood is lovely and really can't be beaten... Others may well disagree but I would never specify UPVC. With a wooden door you can then choose good locks.. Banham are best and they cater to Windows too but you can buy window locks online to suit the style of window ie sash or bay etc .. Have a look online and I'd say choose 1 finish throughout ! Also think about the other door furniture central door knob? , escutcheons, letter plate etc :))...See Morewardrobe advice neede
Comments (5)The doors are plain so no need to replace. Wallpaper by definition will command attention as soon as you enter the room, so unless you are a skilled wallpaper fitter to perfectly cover the doors etc then it can look shabby and will be short lived. Prepare the doors well, paint with a good quality eggshell (either the same as the walls or a colour two shades darker) and fit new handles. A tidy, clean, updated and economical result!...See MoreKitchen door handles (again)
Comments (2)Hi Emma, your kitchen certainly sounds dreamy! Ideally you want to match the finish of your door handles to your tap. You also want to consider what you currently do when opening a kitchen unit and if that will dictate what you want in your handle. e.g. if you hang towels from your handle then you'd want to go for round edged, or if you open doors with messy hands then you'll want a handle you can clean easily etc. With the description you have provided and image I'd suggest to go for the Dowsing and Reynolds handle in raw brass, it will look striking against the matt graphite and white as well. It sounds like you are after a statement piece and this definitely give you that wow factor. https://www.dowsingandreynolds.com/shop/skyscraper-knurled-handle/ Hope this helps! Comments (19)Tricky one - colour is incredibly fickle, especially when you compare different surface finishes (the PVC compared to chalky F&B) and in the unique light of a particular room, with all the other colours & surfaces in play. Personally I like the colour you now have, and might wait until I had painted walls - just doing this may get the space feeling closer to the colourway you envisioned. Different tiles to the reds & terracottas would also transform the look and allow the green to shine through. If you do take up the (very generous & honourable) offer of the sprayer, then be sure that the revised colour is going to tick your boxes. As others have said, a good few 5 star reviews around the web would be in order for a company offering good customer service like that! Oh, and the brass handles look great - you might also consider the American brass & American copper finishes from Croft & Assinder!!...See MoreThe SpaceMaker Interiors
