Have you ever considered a real interesting eye catching piece of art work to really brighten up an area, I think a select piece of art would really make the space stand out, add interest, colour, texture and add a great talking point to the room.... Can't imagine getting up from beautiful crisp linen or top quality cotton to then shower and dry myself with rough old towels. I'd rather drip-dry! Bought some stunning linen pillowcases and bolster pillowcases online - auction - boxed from 40's/50's and am thrilled with them. 4 large pillowcases and 2 bolster pillowcases, with a bit of embroidery £20!!!! Thanks so much seller! Buy great quality towels at TKMaxx - mine are all Turkish and gorgeously soft, then you have the best of both worlds. Go to the Biggest TK or their sister company Home Sense. If you live near Farnborough there are both stores on a retail site there or Reading has a massive Home Sense too. I buy my bed linen from The White company outlets (one of my beds is Emperor) or online from the Linen Cupboard. Terrific.

5 bed or 4 bed - and what master/en-suite layout?

Do you plan to have a double bed in each room including your master? Having a 4 bedroom house, can give you the space to have a super king in your master bedroom which would balance the space out. Going with the 4 bedroom idea and having a larger master en-suite - it feels like there is a lot of empty unusable corridor space. I think this could be tweaked to make it a fabulous space... Just a brief look at your space, you have 3 wardrobes - could you make the middle one a door into the en-suite, allowing you to have a larger rectangle walk in shower opposite the bath. You could have also have drawers / dressing table on the wall as you come into the bedroom. Think about where the door to the master bedroom would be as it would ideally be balanced around the windows in the corridor. Presuming the windows are fixed. Could bedroom 2 have the door where the 5 bedroom layout is allowing more space for your bedroom door? The A/C cupboard - do you need it? Could you make it wider and smaller depth or a wardrobe for yourselves? It's a little difficult without measurements to work it all out... This is an example of the idea I suggested above. (We are towards the end of renovating our place and we changed it from 5 bed to a 4 but added an en-suite into each room. We don't miss the useless little box room!)

Out of interest....or boredom😅, I did a little digging. I found the same sofa here: https://www.thefurnituremegastore.co.uk/products/albany-fabric-2-seater-sofa-bed-choice-of-fabrics The manufacturer is named as Sofa Factory on the Houzz ad and some more digging found this (same sofa I believe). https://www.bentinckfurniture.co.uk/biba.html Having looked at reviews on trust pilot for both companies I would personally avoid like the plague!
