Replacement p-shaped bath with electric shower screen in small second

i want to replace a small fitted Bette bath & electric screen that was damaged in a catastrophic flood, but the model is not available in the UK anymore & there is no after sales support. Any suggestions or recommendations please?

Do electric shower screens exist? Or do you mean an electric shower and a shower screen?

It is actually an electric shower screen that rises & can then swing out. The plug rises electronically & then the pump empties the bath.

hi, I agree that turning the kitchen into ensuite bedroom is a smart move, as the current layout means that you have to walk from the kitchen (with the meals) through the bathroom? Or maybe there's another access, but still open plan kitchen / sitting / dining room would work better. They often say, when buying furniture for a small space, choose the ones with built in storage (bed base with sliding drawers, puffs that open up, built in wardrobes if possible, etc.). Also when choosing tables, don't go for chunky pieces, but buy the glass ones, with thin legs, so they create the effect of bigger space. fix few mirros on the walls? Maybe large wall to floor mirror in one place (if you can stand them!). Plenty of shelving, tall, but slim units would work best. Also have you got a loft in the house? you can keep some of the stuff there. Last port of call is always just to rent a storage unit (you can find surprisingly cheap ones these days), and store the stuff you don't use every day. Lovely house and location btw!

Hello Ro Ro, Just a little thought here.. you can create a whole range of storage that doesn't involve having something under the sink! Or you could have a back to wall floating unit.. Small and rectangular.. It does not have to look like they do now.. Also with certain taps you do need to look at the water pressure, if you want aerated taps etc.. If your taps have a good flow I am sure you won't have a problem.. :))

Hi, I'd definitely keep your feature bath. This can be painted in a nice Fired Earth Eggshell finish. I can't comment on your basin or wc, as I can't see them and have no idea what condition they are in? I'd tile the floor, shower areas and window reveals. I'd suggest upstands (skirting tiles) around the rest of the bathroom, then you can add some nice colour to your bathroom your painted bath will be a lovely feature. Have a look at some of my photosets which may give you some inspiration. Having said all this, I think your budget is unrealistic. The most important component in your new bathroom is the person who undertakes the work and this will cost you money. Good luck with your project. Jeremy

I love bronze (wish there was more around!) and it looks fab with teal (I know the 3rd pic is copper but the wall colour looked stunning!). I've not seen these in person but the multipanel patina bronze panels (waterproof) looks quite effective in the photos (first 2 pics). I'd go for a mid tone on the floor as you'll have dark walls, cabinet and then light with the sanitary ware. I personally quite like brass with bronze for the taps and they will stand out against the wood. Is there a reason you can't have tiles on the floor?
