Colour for kitchen walls and blind ideas?
Comments (26)Hi Liz I had a look at the images you posted, and I think a lovely green would be great on your kitchen walls! There is a great one, called Persian Green from Colourtrend, i think it has been discontinued on their current colour charts, but is still available to buy, its a lovely warm natural green and would be fab, looking out onto your garden from inside. The blue appears to make the room look slightly cool...so maybe stay away from blues and greys! Defo change the handles, and just plain white roller blinds, with a side winder, no frills, let the light in, clean and fresh too! Hope this helps ;)...See MoreKitchen colour ideas

Comments (2)Hi, are you based in the states as you’ve posted on the Uk site? if so, you may get specific shopping suggestions on the US site. For what it’s worth I don’t think they’re updated. Do you have an extractor? I’m currently without one and my light (not glass) gets really dirty and I wipe it at least twice a week!...See Morelooking at ideas for kitchen island/breakfast bar

If you require a deeper overhang (I believe overhangs larger than 15cm might need bracketing and the tabletop secured well to prevent tipping) then you could place an additional work top over it. You could paint the feet, legs and shelf to match your perimeter units or as an accent colour. Maybe a little on the rustic side but I have seen it with a back gloss kitchen with pine top and cream legs and shelf and it looks good, warming up the black....See MoreJuliet Docherty
