Comments (2)Hi Paul, I'm only a customer, so I'm no expert and I could be wrong. However . . . unlike yours, the top of our kitchen window frame is level with the top of our sliding doors frame. As it also is on a friends house. We both have 5000 x 2100mm, her's bifold, our's sliding. Have you had an issue with height of floor/depth of screed? Friend did, and to correct it, before the screed went down, they took up the UFH pipework AND the 100mm insulation and added a bit more insulation depth to bring everything up to correct floor level. As for, This was done to give a better fixing and reduce the risk of the frame twisting due to its size and weight of the the panes according to the company we've been talking to Ali bifold / sliding door fabricators and installers for 3 years before choosing . . and never heard that said. Hope everything works out....See Morewardrobe- fitted with sliding doors wardrobe fitted w door vs no door?
Comments (7)We would advise it is completely dependant on the space and your requirements. Walk-in wardrobes look great if they are kept tidy, however a plus for having doors is that it can conceal any mess and give more protection for clothing. Another trend for walk-in wardrobes is to have smoked glass doors mixed with open elements this could also work with matt lacquered doors. Alternatively you could choose to have open elements for items such as bags, shoes or coats (things you know that are easy to keep tidy) then hinged doors for other modules....See MoreSliding doors with hidden frame
Comments (0)Slim framed #slidingdoors were installed to this modern kitchen to allow an abundance of light to flood the internal living spaces. The #minimalwindows system can be installed with the surrounding frame hidden within the wall and ceiling finishes to enhance the frameless aesthetic. With only the #slimsightline visible between each pane the home owner is provided beautifully uninterrupted views.
