Hey
I have spent some day researching and have come to no satisfactory conclusion.
So currently I need to buy an induction stovetop and the question is:
Is the bridging funktion necessary?
Currently I am looking at something like this:
Is the bridging function necessasry. Can I just turn on both stovetops on the same level and heat up a pan or anything else over two stovetops. Or will there be magnetic interference and that is the reason bridging is always sold as a seperate feature?
Thanks for the help!
Thanks for your help!
I assume flexzone is a proprietary name? I have a feeling every company has their own name for these features.
Meaning flexzone is more important than bridging mode. I mean if I use a cast Iron man after some time the heat should be evenly distributed :D
Are there any recommendation regarding induction stove tops on this site?
Flex-zone means a zone has two coils and can be combined (=bridge) with the same zone next to it.
No recommendation, only personal experience and salesmen, just google for reviews.
AEG also do a bridging zone hob. I don’t have them on my induction hob but when it’s due to be replaced it’s definitely a feature I’ll be looking for.
This is the hob we have, on the right hand size is a Flex zone which is really useful for bigger pans. We're very pleased with it.

its just difficult to find the feature
Thanks for all your help!
