POLL: Wall murals - yay or nay?
Comments (16)This wall mural looks like it's for a kids room or space for a child to play/draw. If that's right, then the mural is very appropriate for the bright energetic feel it creates with its presence. Murals are one of my favourite formats of expressing bespoke art, because that's what they are, big, bold, in your face expressions of something personal to you! Bespoke artwork is what we specialise in, so maybe I can encourage you to have a look at our BESPOKE DESIGNS projects and website just to see other inspirational ideas. Comments (2)Hello Daniel, Reading your dilemma, I can't guarantee anybody's quality and finish by recommendation, but this company is someone I have personally checked out and I feel I would use their services when I need to have a mural created. The company's called WALLPAPERED: http://www.houzz.co.uk/pro/wallpapered/wallpapered For your information, I'm a bespoke artwork artist and I specialise in creating artwork specifically to compliment or contrast a rooms decor and furnishings. Such examples of what I do can be seen in my BESPOKE DESIGNS section: http://www.houzz.co.uk/projects/1720017/bespoke-designs If there is anything I can be of assistance to you for your project, feel free to contact me via my Houzz profile or my website: http://thejonescollection.gallery All the best with the mural....See MoreTiny bathroom - paint colours and paint backsplash
Comments (10)Be brave, and go dark! Often people are scared to as they think it makes a room smaller but actually it can have the opposite effect. Blurring the finishing lines of the room can give the illusion of more space, and if the space isn't particularly bright anyway, embrace it! Feature lighting - LED strips under the vanity, or wall lights - can really come into their own in moodier spaces too - don't underestimate the power of lighting :) For the backsplash, bring in a mosaic, or perhaps to continue the natural look, check out a few textured tiles like below - they have less grout to maintain but still offer a nice contrast: If you need a hand or any assistance with supply of products, advice, or design, check us out if you're local to Surrey or South West London :) - Adam...See Morewhat colour should I paint walls to get the versace gold copper colour
