Paint colour with mural
Hi. my Son likes this wall mural for his bedroom but I have no idea what colour to paint the walls with. His room is large, and the mural will fill the only flat wall. The others are sloping dormer with barely a ceiling, so I’m thinking to paint the lot in one colour. Any advise would be great

This is a pic of the room at the moment. The mural would go on the wall to the right. As it’s really sloping and odd angles, would the whole lot seem dark in one colour? Thanks

If that's right, then the mural is very appropriate for the bright energetic feel it creates with its presence. Comments (10)Be brave, and go dark! Often people are scared to as they think it makes a room smaller but actually it can have the opposite effect. Blurring the finishing lines of the room can give the illusion of more space, and if the space isn't particularly bright anyway, embrace it! 4 years agoStunning mural, no pressure then! 😊 My first thought was the sky too. You could pick the palest lemon, nothing too garish, but I also think a very pale aqua such as Dulux Ocean Ripple or a very pale green would go well too.
