Looking for Poggenpohl wall recess system accessories

Hello, I live in a rented apartment that has a Poggenpohl kitchen with the mounted recessed wall system. I'm looking for an additional rail as indicated in the image; I would replace it with something from IKEA but that challenge is finding the parts that slot into the wall. I live in Hong Kong; there is no stock available here and I can't seem to buy anywhere online, even from the main website. No luck on ebay either. Does anyone have any clever ideas?

Hi Susan,

Why not use those metal hooks on the left. They look like they will fit in the recess as well as around the bar?

Hello, and thank you for responding.

Sadly, they don't work as the two bits/pegs/fasteners that go into the recess are flat and wide. Those are the key pieces I am after. IKEA's bars are the same thickness, which is good. It's just that I cannot replicate this setup on the other side of the kitchen, without those bits/pegs/fasteners that hold the bar against the wall. It's a really clever system, but would be even more so if those bits/pegs/fasteners weren't like gold dust.

Everything you suggest sounds nice Minnie, your home must be lovely! Tbh the area where the sofa is going is not very deep so we may well end up with banquette style seating as I do think they look lovely. Then maybe I could get a small round table for coffee's etc....aahh the lampshade! It's been a pain in the butt! I'm still waiting for the Laura Ashley sample's, you would not believe how many shades of duck egg there are! They're so expensive too! :)

I bet that works well and will flow really well with the different shades of purple and green. Has the chair and footstool turned up yet? I think copper will work really well with the kitchen. Btw I assume something in the kitchen will be "silver" even if you've opted for a handless kitchen? I like mixing metals but something to consider if you don't. If you go for a chandelier and the blinds you can always decide on adding copper accessories later (I don't find them that easy to find or ones I like anyway!)

I like the idea of grey as we have blue in our sitting room and would like something a bit different. I agree with adding a pattern, I’m toying with keeping plum in an accent colour as we have it in the adjoining kitchen/diner and I think it would be better to keep some connection. We did have a rug previously but I felt it made the room smaller/darker (it was the same plum colour as the chimney breast so perhaps it was a poor colour choice). I agree with the coffee table/ottoman and lamps too. Perhaps adding some plum and blush in terms of accessorie?

Small trinkets could have the opposite effect, making the space look cluttered. Instead, I would suggest using the depth to recess a radiator, coat hooks, pull out clothes airer, ironing board, or 'peg board' that can be adapted with shelves etc. (similar to attached photo). Don't forget that the depth could be used from either side, to best suit the space.

Do you know any one with a 3D printer?

They would just need the dimensions of the existing ones and could have them printed in a couple of hours.
